mkargahi@pilieromazza.com Nan Kargahi is counsel with PilieroMazza PLLC. Her practice is concentrated on representing companies in a variety of corporate, business and transactional matters, primarily involving mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures as well as corporate formation and governance. Ms. Kargahi also provides advice on and drafts a broad range of contracts including shareholder, consulting, operating, nondisclosure, reseller, services, web development, hosting and license agreements, as well as financing documents. In addition, Ms. Kargahi assists clients with government contract matters including novation, subcontracts, and teaming agreements, as well as small business issues. Prior to joining PilieroMazza, Ms. Kargahi was an associate in the Business Transactions section at Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering where she handled a variety of corporate transactions and general contracts for clients, including non-profits, in a variety of industries, including telecommunications, technology, and aviation. Ms. Kargahi graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana where she received a B.A. in political science in 1991. She received her law degree, with honors, from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1997, where she was a member of the Law Review. Subsequent to law school, Ms. Kargahi clerked for the Honorable S. Martin Teel, Jr. in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Columbia, from 1997 to 1999.
