Avoiding the 11th Hour Crisis

Given the many challenging issues business owners are facing in today’s climate, collaboration with your corporate lawyer is key to smart growth and achieving your company’s goals.  In this informative seminar, Jon Williams, partner in our Government Contracts Group, and Dean Nordlinger, head of PilieroMazza’s Business and Corporate Law Group, will present and answer questions you should be asking your corporate lawyer in 2012.  Dean will cover corporate issues that may be on your mind and possibly others you may not have yet considered.  Jon will provide insights regarding current trends and regulations on procurement and small business issues. 

Some of the issues to be discussed will include how to:

  • Maximize your time as a small business
  • Solve financing needs
  • Compensate and retain employees
  • Position yourself to make acquisitions or be acquired
  • Develop a succession plan
  • Ensure your governing documents are in order to obtain a special designation, such as 8(a) or SBVOSB, and/or to preserve and to protect it once obtained.
